Andrew M. Burt, D.M.D.
Dr. Burt attended Western Kentucky University where he lettered in football. He then obtained his D.M.D from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, Pennyrile Dental Society (past president), Academy of General Dentists, and Academy of Sports Dentistry.
Dr. Burt has many roles as a dentist within the community of Bowling Green including: active staff member of both Medical Center and Greenview Regional Hospitals, staff at area nursing homes, and team dentist for Western Kentucky University Athletics.
Practicing in Bowling Green for 15 years, Dr. Burt works to create a pleasant dental experience for each of his patients. When not at the office he enjoys spending time with his wife Julee Wimpee Burt and his children Hannah and Zack. In his spare time you might find Dr. Burt at the golf course, watching his children at sporting events or at one of WKU's football or basketball games.
William Funk D.M.D
Dr. Funk was born in Bowling Green, graduated from Centre College with a Bachelor of Science degree, and then graduated from UK College of Dentistry in 1968. After graduating from UK, he served in the Army Dental Corps for two years. He then returned to Bowling Green and started a private general practice in 1970. He emphasizes TMJ (headaches and jaw joint problems), oral reconstruction, cosmetics, and dentures. Dr. Funk has also attended the L.D. Pankey Institute and taught there for a number of years.
Dr. Funk has been married since 1964 and has two children and one grandchild. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing, and several other outdoor activities and going to visit his grandchild as much as possible.
Leslie Campbell D.M.D
Dr. Campbell is from Tompkinsville, KY where her grandfather inspired her to also be a dentist. She attended WKU before being accepted to University of Louisville Dental School. She graduated with Honors in 2003, joining a private practice in Louisville. After 5 years, she moved to Bowling Green to practice. Dr. Campbell joined BGOHC in October of 2009.
Dr. Campbell is a member of ADA, KDA, and Pennyrile Dental Society. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially cosmetic treatment. Dr. Campbell is married with one beautiful daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Thomas Birkenhauer, D.M.D.
Dr. Birkenhauer is from Cold Spring, Ky. He graduated from the University of Kentucky's College of Agriculture with a degree in Biotechnology. Dr. Birkenhauer went on to dental school at UK where he enjoyed 4 years as class president. Dr. Birkenhauer is a member of the ADA, KDA, and Bluegrass Dental Society. In his time away from the practice he enjoys running, softball, hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He likes all aspects of general dentistry, but specifically enjoys oral surgery and prosthodontics.
Meghan Thomas, D.M.D.
Dr. Thomas was born in Elizabethtown, Ky. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Thomas then received her D.M.D. from the UK College of Dentistry. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. Dr. Thomas is a member of ADA, KDA and Bluegrass Dental Society. While at UK dental school she was the community sponsor of "Smiles for Life" program. Away from the practice Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends.
